Summer 2026 events
We've enjoyed a fantastic summer of Balsam Bashes and events at Rock Mill Centre, where we hosted our first ever 'Summer Wilderdays'.
Every Thursday of the holidays we explored a different theme or species and got stuck in with a variety of science, research and art activities. Huge thanks to Rock Mill Centre for hosting and facilitating! Make sure you pop in to see our amazing artworks on display.
Balsam Bash events
Take part in our community Balsam Bashes and help us combat invasive Himalayan Balsam, a threat to our local river ecosystems. These events are a fantastic way to meet new people, have fun outdoors, and contribute directly to the health of our rivers. It's a hands-on experience that makes a tangible difference.
Summer Wilderdays at Rock Mill Centre
Our holiday workshops offer a unique opportunity for children to learn about environmental awareness and river stewardship in a fun and engaging way. These sessions are designed to actively involve families in protecting local species and habitats, fostering a love for nature and a sense of responsibility from a young age.
